Alexander Wang’s 2011 Resort Collection – Inspired By Mom
Alexander Wang’s Resort Collection of shoes shows old and new, but remaining true to the trends we are seeing now: wedges, boots w/ a wedge heel, peep toes and cut-outs. You could have probably guessed, wedes are not going anywhere for a while, and I’m not complaining. They’re just too easy to walk in.
Not sure where the mom inspiration part kicks in, but I respect any mom who rocks these.

These really high heels look great in magazines, but kinda silly at the grocery store. It seems there are only two kinds of shoe available these days: the flat and simple “Complete Frump” look or high heeled and strappy “Street Walker” look. There are a few cute beaded flip flops out there, but what if you want something kinda sexy but not over the top high? Hard to find.
