Beso Beso, a gorgeous line made to layer, wrap and adore. Beso Beso proves wearing more than a couple pieces of jewelry is definitely not a bad thing.

The San Diego born and bred jewelry line offers a beachy airy feel, complimenting a  long maxi and sun kissed cheeks flawlessly.

The Chloe necklace, with it’s chunky feel and cross additions, is Style Wax Poetic’s favorite, while the Rosario cross necklace with beads is pretty tough not to love. The wrap bracelets and headbands are a must have for summer.

The last time I styled one of these events, we were assigned to a store in the mall and given two models, to style. When Kelsi Smith, Founder of Two Point Oh LA, contacted me about participating again I was more than happy to oblige. What I did not know, however, was that WE were going to be the models! Full stage, center court, speaking on the microphone – MODELS!!

After a couple deep breaths and picking my first outfit, my nerves began to subside… PHEW. My partner Marci and I, from Fringefries.com, decided if we were doing this, we were doing it RIGHT! {Which of course includes dancing down the isle and having a good ol’ time on the microphone}

Our task was to find four looks from the new 2B store in the Westfield Culver City mall and present them on stage to the crowd. The price points were great, ranging all around $30-$40 the pieces were on trend – floppy hats, wide leg pants, crochets and feathers.  Each entire outfit came out to be around $100.

All of us bloggers had a great time!!  The Bebe corporate running the event were so friendly, the staff at 2B were so sweet and helpful and the crowd at the mall was the BEST. Everyone was there to have a good time, that’s for sure, and all in the name of fashion.

Here are a few pictures from the event. Go to Culver City Facebook HERE to see all the pictures and please, vote for us! The winning team gets $500 and you have a chance to win as well. xx

King of Diamonds by tinyogre
Another Seattle folk band you say? Well, this one may change your mind in the thinking that’s the last thing we need. With songs about love and finding his soul mate, most women will easily fall for these sweet cries and catchy melodies. The men out there, well they too will have a hard time saying anything bad. Surprisingly their songs are already playing at Starbucks, I suppose the Seattle connection can do wonders for a band, but also playing a few live shows here in Los Angeles for anyone local fans. They are playing a free show tonight at It’s A School Night, HERE for more details, and also will be performing live tomorrow morning on KCRW.

Vancouver BC based Obakki is everything you need in your closet this Summer. The line offers neutral tones and clean lines with sheer materials and designs that keep you coming back for more. The colorways in this collection make me think they were designing for me: blacks, army greens, and soft roses/mauves – all ridiculously chic and pair together flawlessly.  Elegant yet unstuffy, chic and creative, the line is great for a day at the beach or can be dressed up for night on the town.  I’m adoring the airy feeling and the over-sized shapes which fall so beautifully.  The above selections are just a few  from the Summer collection that caught my eye but entire line can be seen tomorrow night at Madison Gallery for one night only. Cobalt Blue Gucci Dress

There is something about cobalt blue, that I JUST love. It’s beautiful, striking and the person thats wearing it can’t help but exude confidence. It makes a statement but without being too bright and it says “notice me” but just enough to say it with class.  It’s worn usually structured in form and looks great with black, cream or my favorite, paired with another muted down color – as pictured in the second from the top.

I love Spring and I love colors ..cobalt blue can be that perfect in between color when you don’t want to go all the way bright.

Today’s outfit is about comfort, vintage finds, and hats — some of my favorite things all in one post.
This is my workday wear, as luckily I work in fashion and can wear what I want. The jeans are CLOSED, and some of the most comfortable skinnies I’ve ever worn — it pays to PAY. They range about $200-300. They feel like nothing on, and they’ve basically become staple wear for me at least three times a week. The shirt is vintage, $8 at the Goodwill, which reminds me I need to go there soon. My boots are going on four years old, gotta love that, and I’ve just had them resold for half the amount I paid for them – totally worth it. I found them on sale originally for only $75 at the end of the season – so happy I did. I can walk for miles in these shoes [literally have when I lived in NYC] and the colorway is a perfect blend or red/brown. The HAT, which in my opionion makes the outfit, is a easy find from the lovely H & M – $12.95 country magic! Great for the beach or to make a boring outfit a little more interesting.

I’ve heard this song for months now & one thing was clear — it was Style Wax Poetic’s new sunshine happy song. I never knew the name of the artist who sang it until today. Naked And Famous , a rock band from New Zealand featured for today’s for Music Mondays, have released their first studio album, Passive Me, Aggressive You, on September 6, 2010. The song above, Young Blood, made them the first New Zealand band is three years to have a single debuted at number one.
