{Special Screening of The Art Of Getting By || Emma Roberts Fashion Interview}

Monday evening, The Clairty Theater in Beverly Hills hosted a special screening of Fox Searchlight’s The Art Of Getting By. The cast, along with their family and friends, celebrated a film which is sure to be a hit. A coming of age romance story taking place in New York, of two teens both about to graduate, both living through complications in their own right. A touching sweet story, of romance, real life problems, and triumphs.

Among the crowd was the film’s cast member, Emma Roberts, Elizabeth Reaser, Blair Underwood and Rita Wilson, as well as a few friends and supporters such as model Jamie King and Twillight Saga’s Peter Facinelli.

Style Wax Poetic was honored to be celebrating with such a talented crew of actors and admiring the fashion for such an occasion.

I got the chance to catch up with the talented Emma Roberts and ask her about her some fashion questions.

Let me just say, she’s DARLING in person, but she really has something special on film.  She reminds me a little of Natalie Portman’s dry humor in Garden State but with a magnetism and beauty like Julia Roberts — and she’s only 19!

FASHION INTERVIEW:

Style Wax Poetic: Hi, I’m from Style Wax Poetic, nice to meet you!

Emma Roberts: Oh yeah, I’ve totally heard of that. (Wow, really? Secretly smile inside ;)

Style Wax Poetic: What did you think about the film’s fashion?

Emma Roberts: I actually wore a lot of my own clothing in the film. I wore my Fiorentini + Baker boots (Buy HERE), along with my black leather jacket in almost every scene. I’m so sad I lost the jacket, but at least I get to admire it on film. I loved that thing.

Style Wax Poetic: I love your look and the brights paired together. What are you wearing?

Emma Roberts: Thanks, I love your jumper! (Thanks Emma)My pumps are Jessica Simpson and my dress is a designer I’ve never heard of.

Style Wax Poetic: What are some of your must have fashion staples right now?

Emma Roberts: I just bought a pair of oversized round Gucci glasses that I love. And I wear wedges all the time – they are so comfortable!

    Its nice to see that Peter Facinelli can pull off something other than a suit and tie from his great character Dr. Cooper in Showtimes, “Nurse Jackie”…
