Season after season, the Stuart Weitzman Highland Suede Over The Knee boot has established itself as the it girl’s must-have boot, and for good reason: they make any simple outfit look majorly chic. The Suede Over-The-Knee Highland boot makes a simple sweater dress look every-so-chic (case and point below) or pair them with a skinny jean to elevate your entire look.
But is it worth the $798 dollars for these suede over-the-knee boots?
Some say yes, and I partially agree, but thankfully for those who can’t afford that price tag, there are options.
Keep in mind, Suede Over-The-Knee boots are a tricky purchase. For one, you’ll want to ensure they are good quality. Two, you want them to fit snug, but not too snug, where they are cutting of your circulation in some parts of your leg. And three, for the sleekest look, you need to make sure they fit snug around the thigh (instead of the chunky boot look which to me isn’t as fashionable and sometimes sloppy). I know this because I’ve been through my fair share of purchases and investigation, recently taking a chance on these Asos Suede Over The Knee boots. They’re cute, yes, but not exactly the look I’m going for, so they will be returned.
Because I’m still on a mission for the perfect boot (in grey, black and taupe – yes I want them in every color), I’ve scoured the internet to find the best suede over-the-knee Stuart Weitzman Highland knockoff boots. And thankfully, this post is a result of some great finds.

One of the stores I found that carries similar boots to the Stuart Weitzman Highland boot is Jessica Burman. You can see from above, the the shape is very similar but keep in mind the material is going to be different (synthetic versus real). Most places you find boots under $200 on the internet don’t use real leather I’ve found, but being an animal lover, I’m OK with this as long as they still look great. I’ve seen some of their boots on though, and I think they look great. I plan to purchase mine in black to go with jeans, a white t-shirt and a black blazer.
The second place I’ve found similar boots is Amazon Fashion. I’ve been wanting a pair of taupe colored boots and this is the only place I can find them in this similar style. They fit in the thigh which is really important to me and I know Amazon has a great return policy as well. There are only a couple sizes left from Amazon so act quick if you like them! I’m taking a chance with the size 6, I’m usually a 6 1/2. I’m recommending these boots based off all of the positive reviews and many saying they look great in person!
How cute are the taupe boots with a simple black outfit?!
