Traveling is one of my favorite things to do: escape everyday life, meet new people and try new things. Last monthly, I visited the Lowes Coronado with Tesla and while I may have brought two suitcases full of clothes, I realized a few good pieces was all that I really needed.
In the next few posts, I’m sharing what to wear on vacation in San Diego. I hope my mistakes will help you pack moving forward.
When packing for vacation, it’s good think about what you can wear that can be worn more than once. Take for example, my white trousers. If you’re vacationing somewhere tropical or near a pool, chances are you’re going to have a nice tan and nothing is better than a pair of white pants in summer on tanned skin.
I wore these to dinner with a green tank top (will be shown in the next post) but also threw them on over my bathing suit for a complete look after the pool day. I purchased mine from JLuxeLabel but I’m linking a few similar options below.
When thinking about swimsuits, you’ll probably want to bring a few options because they don’t take up much room, but I like to bring a couple option that be worn as a bathing suit but also doubles as a bodysuit like this piece. The metal hardware makes it dressy enough to wear on a boat or around town with sandals and it’s sexy for a day at the pool.
Shoes seem to always take up a lot of room, but if you’re like me you’re definitely going to need a pair of heels. I love these by Alexandra G. This is an awesome shoe designer I found recently and what I loved about these shoes is that they are incredibly comfortable and also very sexy. They have personality and flavor, coming from the designer’s latin background.
Up next I’l be sharing a few more looks from the trip which I hope helps you figure out what to wear on your next tropical vacation.
