As women, we know, Valentine’s Day isn’t every guy’s favorite holiday. Some guys are planing months ahead but let’s be honest, that’s not the norm. If you’re one of the last minute types, don’t fret, I have some last minute Valentine’s Day ideas that will be sure to wow your babe. (Most are local in LA, but the same idea applies wherever you are!)
1. Valentine’s Day Couples Hot Stone Foot Massage
hot stone foot massage (30 minutes) $45
You can’t go wrong with a little pampering, and she’ll love it even more that you suggest to go with her. No shape, no buff, no color…just ahhh. This relaxing treatment begins with a soak in calming scented water then continues with a restorative and soothing hot stone massage enhanced with côte’s 100% organic argan oil. Relax and feel the penetrating warmth ease and relieve your tension.
A service at côte includes complimentary champagne, rose, coffee, lemonade! Services offered inside or on the outside patio. Location: 11714 San Vicente Blvd., Los Angeles CA (Brentwood neighborhood)
2. Something special from Elodie K
I wrote about this boutique previously and I simply love it. Located on Melrose Place, a quick stop the boutique and you’ll be sure to leave with something special. I love their beautiful caftans, jewelry and special options that will make sure to make your lady feel beautiful on Valentine’s Day.
3. Romance her with a picnic (Budget Friendly)
This option is contingent to the weather, I know, but you can plan something similar at home if it’s too cold outside. (Think lots of candles, floor pillows and chill music) But here in LA, this is an easy one and always an impressive one. Simply grab a basket from Target and fill it with fruit, cheese, crackers, wine, and a blanket. I’m OBSESSED with picnics…super cute idea for you Galentine’s Date, too!
Whatever you do on Valentine’s Day, remember the day is about love and not just the romantic kind. Remember to love yourself first, the rest will follow. Spend some time relaxing, doing what makes you happy, pampering yourself and for goodness sake, don’t let this holiday ever get you down. It’s a beautiful day to celebrate love on all its form.
With love…..SWP. xx
