The weather forecast was wrong, horray! A ‘typical’ lovely Sunday in LA and a perfect day for a maxi dress. Inspired by my dear friend and fellow fashion blogger Flor De Maria, we went out to do some shopping yesterday and with summer colors on my mind. She has amazing style and she’s queen of always adding a pop of color to her outfits.  While not necessarily bright, I added some color for today with a pink/orange dress. Tribal prints still going strong this season and a maxi dress is the easiest Sunday outfit for a Spring/Summer day.  A few pics and we headed on to the Pasadena Flea Market – first time for me. I was hunting down deals like you’ve never seen…a dress, blouse and necklace all for only $27! After a little altering the dress will be perfect..pictures to come.  I was focused on clothing today but next time I’m hitting up the vintage suitcases and amazing chairs.  What a lovely day and weekend with my girl Flor. The month of August is at an end and it’s the first day of September, wow. Life flies by, and so do the posts on blogs. The disadvantage of reading from a blog, unlike reading from a magazine, is that great information can be here and gone in a few days.  I’m starting a ‘Monthly Round Up’ post which breaks down everything I covered in August.

Friday’s Summer Style with Friends | Flor De Maria Fashion

A FLOWER in its best form can offer beauty, kindness and the ability to bring light to one’s day.  Flor De Maria ,(Flor meaning flower) lives very true to her name and her style shines through just the same!  I was happy to feature Flor De Maria,a successful PR Professional and Fashion Stylist from San Jose California for this Summer Style With Friends.  When I think of Flor, I see a go-getter in career and life, one who has the ablitiy to give love and encouragement to all those around her and manages it all looking flawlessly with a cute outfit, great acccesoires and a beautiful pair of heels on!
