Transitioning into fall season, we naturally want to reach towards darker colors and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. While it’s invebitable to not wear black, I do think it’s important to approach the season with a number of offset colors that will pair well with your blacks, wines and browns, so the season doesn’t turn into a full season of drab colors.
While some are afraid to wear white after Labor Day, I say throw that out the window and pair your white ripped jeans with black booties and an oversized chunky sweater. Ripped jeans are a must for me for fall – Topshop offers them in black, too.
I’m excited to invest in a few new beauty routines like a darker lip and new nail polish hues. I think Essie’s Snakeskin bronze is the must have this season as it will go with almost everything. I’m loving grey nail polish, too.
In terms of accessories, I mentioned in my last post that I’m really looking to invest more as you know they completely transform look. I am starting to gravitate more towards silver in a major way. This necklace is everything!
What have you been lusting over this Fall? Comment below I’d love to see your favorite pieces! Xo

Today is another post about Spring transitional dressing. One day it’s hot, one day it’s cold, what are the best pieces in our wardrobe during these time of indecisiveness from our dear Mother Nature?
Happy Friday, loves. I’m really excited to share my look with you today: it’s all about black and white stripes. It’s a slight obsession I have because I think everything looks good in stripes. It’s a pattern without being too much and you know by now how much I love black and white! Can’t get enough.
This past weekend in Los Angeles was seriously ridiculous. I had to pinch myself, are we dreaming? It’s summer… in March. While I love the look of layers and chic coats, we’re dressing light and airy clothing as though it’s summer and I’m not complaining.
Lately, I’ve been on a distressed boyfriend jean kick. They’re so easy to throw on for the weekend with flats and a t-shirt then switch them up for a nighttime look with heels and a blouse. They’re the perfect weekend or day look, without having to try too hard. My tote has a beautiful story, one that I would talk your ear off in person if I had the chance to. It may be best if you just read it here. What’s great about this tote is that the accessories are interchangeable. That means each season (or every other weekend) you can switch out the accessory for a different look. Love! Hope everyone is off to a great week and excited for spring. I’m loving daylight savings which means summer is just around the corner!

Three day weekends always make me happy. Two days normally fly by an that one extra day makes you feel like you have so much extra time for important things, of course, like shopping. (Ok, we did find time to eat mexican food and take a nap by the pool in 85 degree weather. That was pretty important as well). This weekend is a special once combining pre-Spring, end of the winter sales, and of course President’s Day sales as well. It’s a really great time to shop and I hope you enjoy! XXX
Piperlime is offering 25% all chic styles (anything less than $150).
Steve Madden is offering 20% off all styles all weekend when you enter code PRESIDENT20at checkout.
Shop the President’s Day sale at Revolve Clothing and save up to 50% off your favorite items! I love Revolve because everything on their site makes you feel a little cooler. This glam with an edge. This simple white dress is perfect for so many occasions. I’d wear it with moto boots and a leather jacket, mixing feminine details with rocker chic.
Take 40% off weekend must-haves at THE OUTNET this weekend,
Gap is offering an extra 40% off. How about this floral bomber jacket for the perfect winter to spring tradition jacket? Yesssss, please. It’s marked down, too.
Asos.com is offering an extra 15% off clearenced items. I love a jacket with a little detail and this French Connection dress is everything.

JOES JEANS – is offering 30% off denim through Monday with code DEMIM30. They actually have more than just denim. I love this Valentino Floppy Hat and their Classic Skinny.
ASOS – is offering 20% off all regular and sale priced merchandise with code GOLONG. I love this pretty plaid blouse and who can resist this River Island Scarf Print Pencils skirt or this peplum darling number.
DVF – is offering 20% off their clearance items until Monday. This fur sweater jacket is to die for – comfort and chicness, as are these mixed material leather pants. They scream hot!
GIGI NEW YORK – Are you looking for a new handbag? Gigi New York having their winter sale offering an extra 30% off their sale items, and there are tons. Add a touch of color to your outfit with this Majenta Cross Body Embossed Python Bag. You can personalize it, too. I love the idea of this jewelry roll too, because so many times don’t store my jewelry well when I travel.
FEDLER FEDLER – this beautiful line is created by two sisters who have established a signature style with their feminine rock and roll aesthetic. It’s bold, yet feminine, which makes sense why it’s been worn by Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Florence and the Machine and Allison Mosshart. A perfect example of this is their organza skirt, which is now an extra 30% off. I love the cut and it can be used for years to come. I’m also dying for this look – the trousers are simple and professional, and give off the impression of ease when paired with a simple black graphic tee.
MATCHES FASHION – is offering up to 70% off on their sale merchandise. This contemporary Jacquard shift dress is a classic and this moto jacket will have the party stopping in their tracks. For reals.
EQUIPMENT – my favorite line of button down tees and sweaters, is offering 20% off all sale items until tomorrow. I love this color block turtleneck sweater.
One of the easiest, chicest looks these days that’s not only cute, but comfortable, involves a sweatshirt. The comfy piece that you’re used to wearing on the couch, is now acceptable at work, during the day or night, and actually ENCOURAGED when brunching.
Now, what to do and how to wear the sweatshirt is where it get’s tricky. One of my favorite looks is shown above, with a flirty skirt (or skirt worn as a dress), boots, and chunky necklace. It’s flirty and fun but not overdressed. It’s great for day time and can be worn at night with tights and jacket. Not only will everyone think you’re adorable, you’ll be comfortable, all day! I’m sharing a few more looks with you below and a few pieces for you to shop the look. XO

I love the holidays and I can’t believe they are gone. They come and go so quickly but this year I made it a priority to really stop and enjoy every last second of it. These photos were taken in San Diego while I was home for Christmas. This was the most comfortable outfit for Christmas yet I felt totally holiday inspired. Faux fur is something that every girl should have in her closet; it’s timeless like real fur. Same goes for sequins; they’re great investments.
I loved playing around in this old school vintage playground. What a cool find, right?

Happy Holidays, friends! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with family and loved ones. I spent mine in San Diego in 80 degree weather! I couldn’t believe it, but then again I could, because that’s Souther California for you. I enjoyed it but I’ve always wanted a white snowy Christmas! Maybe one year. :)
I’ve been searching the internet high and low for some of the best deals for after Christmas. It’s the time of year where retailers literally mark everything down and try to get their season’s product to move as fast as possible. It’s THE best time to buy.
Sole Society Booties: To start, I’ve been eyeing these booties in cobalt blue for a couple months now and haven’t made the purchase. They are now marked down to $40, such a steal. I bought them in blue but they also have them in red and grey.
Lauren Conrad Tulle Maxi Skirt: I wanted this in color, but for $30 I think it’s great in black too. I’m going to add a belt and wear it with a white crew neck t-shirt with a touch of bling around my neck.
Black & White Skirt: This is another amazing find, for only $25 plus 20% off when you sign up on Facebook and share your purchase link! I saw my fellow fashion blogger wearing it a while back and it looks great on. There’s tons more from SheInside that you’ll have to check out while you’re there. Faux Furs are the must-have of the season and this one is only $40. Wear it with black leg gins, boots and a simple t-shirt. If fur is too much, this cobalt blue jacket is another fab find!
Shop the rest of the goodies below and let me know what you end up getting! Have a great day beauties. XOXO

Hi, everyone. Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. I wanted to share a recent Style Challenge that I’ve done with my blogger babe, Kimberly Luu from According To Kimberly. We both adore our Sole Society shoes and we’ve style them in two different ways. I love what she’s done for the night time look by adding a rocker chic feel. You can see more of her look here.
What look do you like best?
What I love about these shoes is that they are super comfortable for heels and add a ton of support.
I’m excited to share that I’ll be posting another style challenge tomorrow! Tis the week of blogger face-offs.
SHOP THE LOOK
This isn’t the easiest look to achieve. It’s bold, complicated and takes some planning, but when it’s done right, it can be a show stopper. At WWDMAGIC, Hal Rubenstein, Editor at Large of InStyle Magazine, said that you can either walk in a room or you can walk in a room and be noticed. Blacks are SO out and SO boring if worn all the time. I think if you try this look, you’re moods will be elevated instantly. I look how chic the model looks with the Varsity Jacket. It takes the ultra girly look and adds some edgy and coolness, something I try to incorporate into everything I wear. Shop the look below! XX
