There’s never more confirmation that you “got it right” than receiving multiple compliments on a look or item you’re wearing. That’s what happened with this look thanks to these over the knee velvet boots.
I shared on my Instagram that lately my style is evolving. I took a moment the other day to look through my Instagram and saw a few posts from a couple years ago that made me cringe! Does that ever happen to you? I also saw some posts and outfits that would look good today. Those looks were more neutral colors and classic pieces. It started to make me think about my outfits today and what I’m wearing. I used to love being a risk taker with fashion, still am to an extent, but lately I’m feeling like I want to play it a little more safe. That doesn’t mean boring, I can’t do boring, but a little more classic is what I’m gravitating to. Classic but sexy, if you know what I mean.
When I’m feeling like I’m not loving my outfits, I often go to Zara for a good refresh of pieces. This top is one of my favorite purchases so far. It’s so comfortable and soft and I love the high neck details. I also picked up a few staples like some high-waisted white jeans and this quilted black purse. The boots you’ve seen before.
I receive so many compliments on these over the knew velvet boots. They add that special touch to an outfit, I adore them. I’ve also seen a lot of people wearing the OTK boots in the wine color which looks amazing too. These KENDAL + KYLIE velvet wine color boots are so fire! I’m tempted to get them too. I love the stiletto heel, it makes them so sexy.
These boots may not be in style for ever since velvet is a current trend but I will say they should last you a couple years. When thinking about fashion and your looks, adding one special piece that will make you stand out is key. They are special and beautiful without being too far from a neutral color palette.
I’m linking similar items below and those amazing wine colored KENDAL + KYLIE boots! Let me know what you think babes and wishing you a great week! X
