Lately, many people are making the switch to natural beauty and it makes you think, what am I putting on my skin?! I eat healthy, exerxcise and live well but honestly couldn’t tell you what is natural beauty or not by looking at the ingredients.
I came across a really cool brand on Instagram (where else lol), Whish Beauty, which does exactly that. They’re known for powerfully effective, natural beauty and their whole website ranges from skincare, to body lotions, and so much more. What’s cool is that their entire range is natural, so it keeps the guessing out of having to check the fine print. I was lucky to test out a few of the products which I’ve been loving.
Pomegranate Body Butter
First impression of Whish’s Pomegranate Body Butter is that is smells AMAZING.
I’ve been looking for a good natural beauty moisturizer because honestly, I forget to moisturize my body the same way I do my face, hands and neck. The Pomegranate Body Butter smells so good it’s easy to remember to use. It’s a small touch but I love the easy push top and it feels nice to touch, way better than something from he drugstore.
It’s said to boost collagen, has 3 different types of antioxidants and if offers lasting hydration.
Coconut Milk + Verbena Luminous Body Oil
This is one of my favorite products yet by Whish. After applying the Pomegranate body butter, next step is to add the oil. It’s very light, adsorbs quickly and also has peptides for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. So many people focus on their face and neck, but we forget that our body needs love and moisturizing!
This will leave your skin super smooth, but also has been proven to calm inflamed skin and increase skin luminance. WE WANT THAT. :)
Again, I’m also impressed by the packaging. The oil doesn’t pour out in tons so you use too much and waste the product. It comes out in a really nice amount and easily. So far very much sold.
Recovering Night Cream
As some of you may know, I’m a huge advocate for retinol and Retin-A. It does wonders for your skin and is proven to boost collegan and for its anti aging properties. However, not all skin types can handle the harshness or dryness that normally comes with both retinol and Retin-A. Maybe people give up, which is why I was interested to try Which Beauty’s Recovering Night Cream.
This product contains an ingredient call bakuchiol, which is an edible 100% natural substitute for retinol. For their site, it says that clinical studies show the same efficacy was retinol without the drying, redness and UV issues (sunscreen is a MUST when using Retinol or Retin-A).
This product is also said to:
- REDUCES THE APPEARANCE OF FINE LINES AND WRINKLES: 2% bakuchiol (all natural retinol replacement), terminalia chebula fruit extract, organic rose hip oil
- DELIVERS INTENSE MOISTURIZATION: organic sunflower seed oil, organic argan oil, saccharide isomerate
- SOOTHES: vitamin F (linoleic acid, linolenic acid), organic chamomile, organic jojoba seed oil
Revitalizing Cleansing Oil
I have dry skin so normal cleansers simply don’t cut it for me. Since trying a cleansing oil, there’s seriously no turning back to normal ones. I had to try theres which is a really great size and also has some added benefits.
Their Revitalizing Cleansing Oil is detergent free (say what? people put that in other cleansers? Sounds HARSH), gently removes stubborn makeup and impurities, doesn’t contain during soap, and contains the product I mentioned above, too – BAKUCHIOL. Scroll down below to see some of the benefits of Bakuchiol from a study.
Here is more information on the ingredient they use in many of their products.
Thank you to Whish for sponsoring this post and sharing these amazing natural beauty products with me! And thank you for supporting the brands that make this job possible. I hope you learned something valuable and will consider natural, effective beauty products whenever possible.
