Can you believe it’s May? The time flies so quick, doesn’t it?
If you’re new here, thanks for stopping by. I’m recapping some of the great things that happened this month and some of my favorites, so if you missed a post you’ll see the highlights here.
First off, Coachella happened – uhhhhh-mazing! It was my first time there and I’m hooked. I didn’t go to the actual festival but attended the parties – next year I’m making it a full 3-4 day weekend, it was well worth it. Here’s some Coachella Style Inspiration (pictured below, too) and here is what I actually wore. If you read this post, you know that I wasn’t even planning on wearing that but I made the best of it!
One more note on the above, I’m obsessed with these arm bangles! I think they are so chic to throw on with maxis or a bathing suit.
Talking more outfits and fashion, here in this post I break down the overall trend (love it, hate it, can’t decide?). I decide to make it work appropriate. I also fell in love with shirts over jeans (first seen on Happily Grey) and tried it here.
Offering more fashion tips, I love sharing ideas on how to look chic for cheap – it’s how I live my life! Like for real, who can afford designer everything? This post is an example. I also show you a very causal and edgy look here where I’m wearing flats – something you see very, very little of on me. :) The jeans in that post are soo soft, I’m really loving them and they’re steal from Zara of course.
This post dips back into March, but it was one of my favorites, so I had to share again. It was in collaboration with Boohoo.com, a store I’m pretty obsessed with. The quality is great and the pieces are all so reasonable!
And just posted was this beautiful white cutout dress that has me feeling all sorts of creative! Free People’s clothes definitely do that to you, they make you want to move in ways you haven’t before.
On the beauty side, I was really excited to try out these new summer lip crayons from Vintage Cosmetics. I also found a new online luxury boutique I think you’ll like. They offer unique designers that are just emerging.
I also had the chance to try the new Keratin Complex treatment last Friday – it was AMAZING! My hair still feels and looks great. I haven’t used the take home products yet but I’ll let you know when I do.
ON THE RADAR FOR MAY
I have a new collaboration this month, I’m traveling to Palm Springs (again, I know) which I’ll be sure to share all the views on Instagram. I also just got back from a little adventure that was so magical, stay tuned, pics coming very soon.
And it’s Monday, which means we all need a little inspiration so…
