Can you believe we’re officially post holiday season? There’s so much build up and every year I’m amazed how quickly the holiday actually slips by. It’s like we blink and it’s over, which reminds me how important it is to be in the moment. I hope everyone enjoyed eating, drinking and snuggling watching movies with friends and loved ones. It’s now officially sweater season, time to hide that holiday belly! #yessss
With 2015 approaching any day now, we’re all starting to think about things we’d like to accomplish in the new year. One of my biggest goals for the upcoming year is travel more. To me, travel doesn’t have to be a big trip to another country (although that’s really nice, too) but more so a change of scenery and an adventure. I’m definitely ready on the packing side, thanks to Sole Society! I literally have been eying this bag all year and I’m so happy it’s finally made it’s way to my closet.
S0000, let’s talk travel – where are you itching to go next year? My wish is to discover more chic boutique hotels that are less discovered – that’s my favorite way to travel. Here are a few places I’d like to make it to in the next six months.
+ Austin, TX (SXSW is approaching, although I’m pretty sure I’d love it any weekend)
++ Miami (sooo bummed I missed Art Basel this year, I’m definitely going next year)
+++Palm Springs (ALWAYS, I repeat, ALWAYS a good idea.)
++++ San Francisco (did you know they are building a train that goes from LA to SF in some crazy time like 3 hours?! #SoOnIt)
+++++ Tulum, Mexico (yeahhh, so I know it’s pretty much played out at this pint but still, it’s so freaking beautiful there)
++++++ And lastly, anywhere where I can get lost in the wilderness – maybe big Sur, Seattle, Portland, etc.. suggestions?
This is a super comfy look that you is great for travel. If you need to be appropriate right when you arrive, switch into a nude heel right when you get there and switch into your clutch instead. You’ll be ready for dinner instantly.
